The crew managed to stop the water ingress and sailed to the nearest safe port. Dry docking was required to repair the suspected damages. Galvanic corrosion in the box coolers had caused severe corrosion in the sea chest. Prosub was requested by the Underwriter to carry out surveys and follow up the repairs.
