Winch failure
An AHT vessel experienced damages to their winch system while being engaged in a mooring operation in the UK sector.
The vessel aborted the operation and transited to Kongsberg Maritime in Brattvaag, Norway, to undergo repairs.
The vessel had both a H&M and LOH cover, and considerable amount of work was carried out to assist the Owner getting the vessel back in operation as soon as possible. Prosub assisted the Client with follow-up during the repair period.
